Wet ceiling removal

This was a wet bedroom ceiling that had to be removed because of the extensive water damage in Cedar Rapids, IA. SERVPRO of Kendall County carefully removed all contents and covered the floor before the ceiling removal with blown-in insulation. Even though you can see the obvious water damage on the before picture, our thermal imaging camera revealed that the entire ceiling was wet and had to be removed.  The after picture shows the wood framing that needed to be dried. This is a great example of how water damage can be extreme and why it needs to be addressed as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your home.
