Frozen Pipe causes Extreme Water Damage in Kendall County Home
Chicago had a subzero temperature for 52 straight hours. The frigid marathon beat out the last subzero streak in 2014 by 14 hours. Although no all-time records were broken in Illinois the low temperature of -23 was close to clipping the record of -27° On January 20, 1985.
Along with the record-breaking temperatures came devastation to many homeowners in the area.
